We had a fun day at Animal Kingdom. The kids loved the park and they really had a fun day. We went on a Safari ride the kids loved. The kids also got chosen to help the crew with parade preparations. They first had to help direct the traffic. Maddy loved it and everyone was giggling at her. They then led the crowd in the wave. It was such a fun time-they will never forget it!

Disney World
We left for Florida on Friday after Christmas. This has been a long wait for the kids, who really didn't care much about the parks, but really wanted to catch frogs and lizards. On Saturday we visited the Magic Kingdom. It was a bit crowded and I had 2 sick kids. This was not our favorite park. The parade was really fun and the kids loved it.
Merry Christmas
We had a great Christmas day. The kids were so excited and it was so much fun to watch their faces as they saw their gifts. I had the monitor on in the girls' room, because Maddy wasn't feeling well. On Christmas morning, I could hear them as they looked through their stockings and it was so much fun. I wish I could have taped it, because it was priceless.

Christmas Singing
Alexa and Madelynn sang at church on Sunday. The performance was amazing. They had a group of older kids who did a glow stick show. The older kids sang a song and then the younger kids sang. They then all sang together and it was so cute. Alexa had a little stomach bug, so she was not as into it as she had been, but she worked hard and did a great job. Madelynn surprised me by singing and doing the motions. I was so proud of both of them!
Brownie Christmas Program
Alexa's Brownie Troop had a little Christmas program for their families. It was so cute. They did a little skit and said the girl scout promise. Then, they played games and had snacks. They also had a gift exchange and Alexa got a Littlest Pet Shop animal-her favorite! It was a really fun time for all of us.

TRIP TO WV

We decided to visit my grandmother, aunt, uncle, cousins and their kids the day after Thanksgiving. Our family and my parents packed up the truck and headed to WV. The girls were so excited to travel there, because they have a dollar store across the street from their house. They also love playing with my cousins daughter, Micah. While we were there, we visited the capital building and celebrated Micah's fifth birthday. She had a dance party and it was so cute to see all the kids dancing around-even Gregory joined in! We had a nice visit with my family and a long trip home on Sunday.
BIG BOY BED

We have been slowly getting Gregory's big boy room ready. He has an airplane theme, because he loves airplanes. He decided the day before Thanksgiving that he would sleep there. He was so excited. He climbed right in and pulled up the covers. So far he has been doing well. He has only fallen out once-he moves all over the bed. I keep going in to move him to the top, but he moves to the bottom by the time I come back in to check on him. He looks so tiny in that big bed-I can't believe he's old enough to be in a big boy bed!
