Messiah College

We have been visiting the college frequently to play tennis, take nature walks and just enjoy the water. We took one long hike last weekend. We aren't sure how far we walked, but it took about 1 1/2 hours which is a long walk for the kids through the woods. We have been playing lots of tennis or at least trying to help the kids learn to play. Even Gregory has his own racket.

Ladew Gardens

We went to the gardens with Grammy and Papa across the street. It was a beautiful place. There were several different types of gardens and lots of water, which the kids loved. They were trying to catch frogs and did manage to catch a couple. In the sculpture garden, the sprinklers were running, so needless to say, they left very wet. They had so much fun running through the water and we had so much fun watching them laughing!!

Happy 4th of July

We went to Allenview for a 4th of July party thrown by Sean, Marsha and Jimmy. It was at the pool, so of course the kids had to swim. It was way too cold for us, but they had fun swimming. The kids had fun doing sparklers, for the first time. It was a really fun night for all of us!
