Madelynn's birthday celebration

On her birthday, we went to the Hershey Gardens, Chocolate World and swimming at the hotel. This was the list of things Madelynn wanted to do, so she got to do it all. We had the whole family over for pizza and cake and presents. Madelynn had a really great day and told me several times that this was a great day.

Madelynn's 6th birthday party

Madelynn wanted to have her party at Paulus Market-a favorite place to visit for the girls. She invited some girls from her class, her family and a couple of other friends. We did lots of crafts, including cutting flowers and decorating jars to make bouquets. We had a cow cake and a pinata. The kids got to feed the animals and they all loved that. As a surprise, her kindergarten teacher came. What a great treat! She had a really nice time and loved her farm party.

Family visit

My family visited last weekend from West Virginia. My aunt, 3 cousins, their 5 children and my grandmother arrived on Thursday and they left on Monday. It was a fun filled weekend. We spent lots of time in Hershey swimming. They went to Hershey Park. We all went to Chocolate World and we spent lots of time eating and hanging out just talking. We also had Madelynn's 6th birthday party. It was a very nice weekend and a great visit!
