We went to Myrtle Beach with my parents. We go every year and always have a great time. The kids love playing in the ocean and digging in the sand. We spend hours on the beach just hanging out and having fun. The kids love to dig huge holes in the sand and swim in them as they fill up with water. We try to build a reinforced wall, so it takes a while for the water to wash it away. The kids love it! As always, they love the golf cart and driving around. We also went to see Toy Story 3 at the 3-D IMAX theater which was really cool. Gregory loved it. This was a really fun and memorable vacation!

Ladew Gardens
We visited the gardens with Greg parents. This is such a great place for the kids, because they can run free in the wide open spaces. There is also a lot of water and frogs in the water which the kids love to try to catch. They were obsessed with catching the frogs. We all had a really nice time and really enjoyed the beautiful gardens.
Baby Parker
We decided to go to our friend's baby's Christening in Maryland. We went down on Saturday to visit a little and meet the new baby. The girls fell in love as did Gregory. He is asking Santa for a baby Parker for our house (Santa's good, but not that good!). We had a great visit and it was great seeing Mary Jo, Chris, Grace and Parker. We went back to the hotel to swim and get some ice cream. It was a great day. The next morning we took our time getting ready and were all ready and checked out...when we got to the car, the battery was dead. It was like 100 degrees and we were 20 minutes away. Some guys gave Greg a ride to an auto parts store and her got jumper cables. He jumped the car, but it was too late to make the Christening, so we drove to the auto parts store to buy a new battery and went to the lunch after the Christening. All in all, it was a fun weekend!
Family Camping
We went on a camping trip with my whole family and my extended family. I think there were 22 of us. It was the Elicker's first time sleeping in a tent that was not in our back yard. We went to Summersville Lake. After setting up the tent and getting dinner ready the first night, we were having fun...until the rain hit in the morning. We sat in the car watching movies for a while until the rain stopped. We decided to try to swim in the lake until the rain started again and much to our surprise, it turned out to be a beautiful day. The kids had a great time swimming and playing together and the adults got to visit and hang out. It was fun for all! The packing up the next day was a lot of work, and we all went home a little tired.
