We took a trip to the zoo, because the kids had been asking all summer to go. It was a nice day and we had a great time. The kids loved seeing all the animals and we really enjoyed seeing the excitement on their faces...they are such animal lovers.

First Day of School 2010
The girls were both very excited to start school. Madelynn was very excited to have gotten Mrs. Shelley and Alexa was a little nervous about getting someone she didn't know. There were no tears this year which was a positive for mommy...it makes my day a lot less stressful. I couldn't wait to hear about their days. Madelynn thought it was great and she was beaming when she came out. Alexa came out crying and had not such a great first day. This worried me, but by the next day she was happy and now she thinks this is the best year ever!
