Paulus Market Parties

We went to Paulus Market on Friday and Saturday nights for t Halloween Parties. The kids had a great time playing with all the kids and going on the hayride. On Friday night, the were dancing on picnic tables. Gregory loved dancing to the Monster Mash. On Saturday night, Amy read a spooky story and they all enjoyed that. They especially loved painting pumpkins and Amy sent us home with 2 pumpkins to carve which we did this morning. They had a very fun, but tiring weekend!

Party, party, party

The girls both had parties at school on Friday. Greg went to Alexa's and I went to Madelynn's. The first grade party was fun. Madelynn had a great time making tissue paper pumpkins and decorating sugar cookies. She took home so many treats-she was excited. Alexa did not have the greatest time at her party-she thought it was boring. After last year's exciting parties, it is hard to go to a party with only one craft and a cookie. It won't be long that she won't have parties at all!

Book character parade

The girls had a parade at school dressed as a character from a book. The girls had fun and all the kids looked so cute in their costumes. The girls both dressed as cowgirls. Alexa read the book "Dash" and Madelynn read "Cowgirl Kate and Cocoa." The also had to do a 2 minute book talk at school. What a fun assignment!?

Trick or Treat

We went trick-or-treating with Grammy and Papa across the street and a friend Tammy and her daughters Gracie and Emalee. The kids had a blast. The girls were running from house to house so fast we couldn't keep up. Gregory was so excited to get so much candy. Our route was finished by 7:15, so we came in and dumped our candy and started eating. It was a blast!

Happy Birthday Grammy far away

Grammy's birthday was Tuesday night. Everyone came over for a lasagna dinner and cake. The kids had so much fun celebrating with Grammy. It was a fun day!

Glee Halloween Parade

Gregory dressed in his lion outfit and went to school for his parade and party. He looked so cute in his outfit. He even let me paint on a nose and whiskers. He was the cutest lion ever. He did not want to roar, because he did not want to scare anyone. It was so cute to hear him say that.

Last Football Game

The last game of the season was a little rainy. It started out ok, but it started to rain and some of the girls got upset, so we decided to end a little early. It was a great season and the girls all worked so hard!

Paulus Market Fun Fort

Gregory loves to play at the fun fort. We try to go as often as we can. It is a great place for him to run and get out some of his never ending energy. Daddy came home early from work one day and we decided to go and have some fun.

Myrtle Beach take 2

The kids also did lots of crafts at the hotel. They painted stained glass, painted wind chimes, made beaded bracelets and book marks, painted glasses to look like pumpkins and made tie dyed shirts. I think the shirts were their favorite and they are all very proud of their shirts.

Fun at the Beach

We took the kids out of school and headed to Myrtle Beach with Grammy and Papa across the street. The kids love to go to this hotel, because they have a lazy river and an indoor pool. They could not wait to take grammy and papa. We spent lots of time swimming and playing in the sand. They loved searching for shells and just running on the beach. Gregory became a regular in the hot tubs. We went to the aquarium one day and they love going there. They also got to go the build-a bear and make panda bears. Gregory, daddy and papa went to ride makerz and built a remote control car that Gregory absolutely loves. It was a fun vacation and everyone was sad to see it end. Gregory is still asking when can we go back to the hotel at the beach!
