Fudgie

Our friends have 3 brand new baby goats. The girls have been begging to go see them, so we finally made it. The girls were so excited. They loved that they each had their own, although Gregory was not too impressed. One of the babies, Fudgie is not being well taken care of by mommy, so they got to bring Fudgie into the house and feed him with a bottle. This was the highlight of the day! All of a sudden, they are sure we need a baby goat and that we should live on a farm. Madelynn was actually crying real tears, because we don't live on a farm. I would offer them the chance to move in with Amy, but I am a little afraid they may want to take me up on it. They loving being at her house and on the farm.

The Six Pack

Madelynn has a friend from school, her best friend, that has a little sister and brother. When we get together it is pure chaos, but the kids love it. They love to run around and dress up and be quite noisy. Zoe's little brother, Luke, is a month older than Gregory and they are starting to play a little together-it's very cute!

Ice Skating

I have a few skating pictures from Madelynn's skating party-you can see the fear in her face!

Cheerleading

Alexa cheered for her first basketball game this weekend. She did a really good job. We were all watching from the stands (mommy was helping). She remembered all the cheers and was smiling the whole time. She loves cheering!

More parties

Daddy and Alexa went to a roller skating party. This was Alexa's first time skating in the rink. Daddy actually had to put on skates and help out. I am sure it was a sight. Mommy had Madelynn at an ice skating party at the same time. Madelynn was a good sport and tried with the help of the birthday mom. She did well for her first time-Mommy decided I would hurt more than I would help, so I chose not to put on skates. I'll add pictures of the ice skating as soon as I get some (my camera battery died on the first picture).

SNOW!!!

My kids think as soon as they see a slow flake falling we should go sledding and build a snowman. They have never seen a real snow fall and I keep hoping for at least one, so we can really have fun in the snow. For now, we have our couple of inches and they think it's great. Mommy thinks it is an awful lot of work for a little bit of snow!

Cinderella

The girls spend a lot of time dressing up, usually in some sort of frilly dresses. I guess Gregory thinks it looks like fun, because he now loves dressing up like Cinderella. My dad bought him a big football jersey that we told him was a princess dress. He tried it for a couple of days, but decided he wanted the real Cinderella dress. He looks so cute. Someday I can show these pictures to his wife!

Tea Time

Alexa attended her first tea party. Her friend, Kelsey, had a tea party for her birthday and the girls have lunch and tea with their American Girl dolls. Alexa loved it! She also got to have a sleepover at Kelsey's house that night. It was her first solo sleepover (the weekend before there were several girls which was a little easier). She had a great time and only a few tears when she decided she was tired and needed mommy. After a phone conversation and a little TLC from Kelsey's mom, she settled down and spent the night. She must have had a great time, because she did not want to come home the next day!
