Big Trucks
The Hampden Fire Company had an emergency vehicle display on Saturday. We took the kids, because Gregory especially loves fire trucks. All the kids had so much fun. They got to get in fire trucks, fed ex trucks, a school bus, an 18 wheeler, tractors and so much more. They were so excited and were running from truck to truck. All of them loved being in the driver seat of such big vehicles.
Fishing
We took the kids fishing on Saturday morning along with Papa across the street. They love digging for worms to fish with. It started out slow, Alexa ended up catching 6 fish, Gregory caught 2 and Madelynn caught 1. They were all working so hard, but Alexa has great patience and Maddy gives up so easily. They all had a great time.

Papa's birthday
My dad's birthday was on the 19th. We all went to TGIFridays after church for lunch. We had a great time with our family. Gregory fell asleep on the way to eat and did not wake up until the food was placed on the table. He didn't even have his eyes opened yet and he stated eating a piece of chicken off my plate. It was hilarious. The best part for the kids was the cake with chocolate icing-even though they wore more than they ate.
Gregory's 3rd birthday party
Saturday the 18th we had a birthday party for Gregory at Paulus Market. The kids love Paulus Market, so I thought they would have fun. The boys made edible dirt and the girls decorated and potted a flower. We had some snacks and cake-another dinosaur cake. We got to feed the animals which was a highlight as was the pinata. My kids love pinatas. All in all, it was a great day and the kids went home dirty and tired-a true sign of a great day!

Fire House
Alexa's Brownie troop was visiting the fire house to drop off some cookies to the firemen. We decided to all go, mainly because Gregory is obsessed with fire engines. He talks about them all the time and pretends to be in one. The girls did a great job delivering the cookies and card and then they got a tour of the fire house. Gregory loved it. He assured me that he could drive the truck and was so excited to get in. I could barely keep hold of him. It was definitely the highlight of his week!
Happy Easter
The kids were very excited about Easter. They had been to several egg hunts and were ready for the Easter Bunny to visit them. On Easter morning they came down to find their baskets full of goodies. We went to church and finally no one cried at drop off - What a great Easter gift for Mommy! We all went to Uncle Michael's and Aunt Jenna's for lunch. The kids had a great time playing with Jackson. We went to across the street Grammy and Papa's for dinner and great-grandma joined us. Grammy and Papa had arranged another Easter Egg Hunt and the kids were so excited. They had been asking all day if they were going to hunt for eggs today. All in all, it was a great day and lots of fun!

Swimming in Hershey
We decided to go to Hershey today to swim. The kids thought it was great. They couldn't wait to get into the pool. Alexa was jumping in and diving under. She is quite the little swimmer. Madelynn was playing it a little safe and holding onto the side or playing in the baby pool. Gregory was jumping in the baby pool and playing with a squirt gun. They all had a great time. We decided, since we were so close, to go the Chocolate World. We had just gone there last weekend, but the kids really wanted to go again. For some reason, they love that place. After a long wait in line, we finally got on the ride and then they got to pick out chocolate. They had a blast. They are very tired and will be going to bed very soon.
Community Easter Egg Hunt
A great neighbor of ours organizes an Easter Egg hunt every year for the kids on the street. They hide all the eggs and the kids get to search around for them (some of them are very well hidden). The kids had a blast doing the hunt and had butterfly shaped donuts afterwards. They were loving life!! All that candy and donuts to top it off!

Gregory Turns 3!!!!
Gregory had a very fun 3rd birthday. He loved all the singing-Mommy sang to him all day! We went to Pizza Town for dinner which he loved. Pizza is his very favorite food. Mommy made a dinosaur cake and he sang along with everyone as we sang Happy Birthday. He tried so hard to blow out the candles, and he did a great job-a little spit on the cake won't hurt anyone. He loved all of his presents. He got an American Girl, boy doll. He got a remote control car, a match box track and a video game. He is having lots of fun with his new toys and he is sharing with his sister, most of the time.

Coloring Eggs
Daddy came home from work early yesterday, so after picking the kids up from school, we decided to color eggs. The kids loved it. They colored some, painted some and even put glitter on some. Gregory was more interested in peeling and eating them, so we let him. After they colored all the eggs, we told them they had to eat all the eggs they had colored for dinner. Neither of the girls liked that idea very much, so instead we put them all on a plate and have them displayed on the kitchen table!
Easter Egg Hunts

The kids have been to two Easter Egg hunts so far. We went to the annual Allenview hunt on Thursday and the Paulus Market hunt on Saturday. Gregory helped mommy and Mrs. Gossage (or Mrs. Gossages as Gregory calls her) hide eggs. I thought he would want to open the eggs and eat the candy, but he was very helpful and didn't open any eggs. At Paulus Market, the kids had so much fun. They had calves, chicks and ducklings. They loved the animals, especially holding the ducklings and chicks. They collected a basket full of candy and had a great time!
