Sesame Place

W e joined some friends for a trip to Sesame Place. There was so much to do there. Maddy and daddy rode on a roller coast as soon as we got there. We rode a balloon ride all together. We rode a caterpillar ride that happened to make mommy a little sick. The kids went down a big tube slide several times. They climbed on ropes and a big mountain. We watched an Elmo show for a little break, although the kids didn't need a break at all! They had such a fun day. Maddy kept telling me that this was better than Disney World!

Kindergarten field trip

Madelynn's class took a field trip to Bluehound farm. It was a fun time for everyone. The kids saw turkeys, chicks, ducklings, goslings, sheep, goats, horses, cows and pigs. They got to hold the chicks which was a highlight. They also got to milk the goat. They all loved that. Madelynn thought that was so cool. She even got to carry the bucket of milk for the farmer.

Showcase

Alexa had a performance with her whole school. Each class sang a song and then they all sang 4 songs together. Alexa's class sang Oats, Peas, Beans and Barley Grow. It was a great performance. All the kids did such a great job. They dressed in old fashioned attire and they looked so cute. Alexa loved her dress!

Daisy Celebration

Monday night was the final Daisy meeting for Maddy. The girls had about an hour meeting and then the families all came. The girls received their daisy pins, sang some daisy songs for their families and we all enjoyed dessert. The desserts had all been made by the daisies and their daddies. Madelynn and Greg made chocolate covered strawberries. They were delicious!

Zoo America

Alexa's brownie troop had a trip planned to the zoo. We decided to all go, since the kids all love the zoo. They had a really great time, but the best part for them were all the caterpillars. They wanted to bring them home, but my rule is no bugs in the car.

Happy Birthday Dayna

The girls' friend, Dayna celebrated her 7th birthday on May 2nd. The kids had a great time at her party. They did lots of crafts, had an animal rescue adventure and had a pinata. The kids went home happy and tired!

Look out Tiger

Alexa has started golfing. Papa far away takes her out about once a week to hit balls and she has started taking lessons. She loves it. Papa even put a putting green in our backyard. She took Gregory out the other day to try to teach him to put. It was so cute.
